Artist Statement:
In the studio, I work with an array of materials and techniques such as weaving, embroidery, quilting, tufting, ceramics, welding, video, 3D modeling and animation, photography, and print-making. Using the languages of traditional and contemporary art-making methods allows me to contemplate human and non-human relationships. Nature Culture, eco-criticism, community practices, and femninisms inspire my practice and research.
Since 2020, I have been involved in many collaborative projects that engage communities, intersect science and art, and use pedagogical practices. I am interested in how art can be the starting point and returning point for larger topics of discourse such as social injustice, environmental distress, and identity.

Currently based in Germany and USA.
2024-2027 MFA in Sculpture and Post- Studio Practice in University of Colorado Boulder.
I received my BFA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2014. I graduated from the Art Academy Leipzig (HGB) with a Diplom Degree in New Media: Installation and Space with Prof. Joachim Blank in February 2020 with honorable distinction.
Since 2013, I have exhibited my works world-wide in Germany, USA, Asia, and the Middle East with solo and two-person exhibitions in Lebanon, Germany, Austria, South Korea, and USA.
I have been published in digital and printed magazines such as Still Point Magazine, Textur Magazine, and Leipzig Glocal for my artworks and/or writings. I won 5th place in a student international art prize, Olympia, in 2017 in Tokyo.
I have received grants and stipends from the Center for Humanities & the Arts of CU Boulde, Kunstfonds Stiftung, Neustart Kultur, Kulturamt Leipzig, and Kulturstifuting Der Freistaates Sachsen.
Between 2019-2022 I taught after school textile courses at the International School Leipzig for high schoolers.
From 2022-2024 I was faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig working with the Foundation Studies for Media Art with Prof. Eli Cortiñas and Prof. Stine Marie Jacobsen.
From 2024-2027 I’m a Graduate Part-Time Instructor at CU Boulder Art & Art History Department, teaching basic sculpture and foundations to undergraduater students.
Between 2024-2026 I was mediating, consulting and curating for a long-term project “Nuestras Historias” at the Museo de las Americas, Denver. Collaborating and exchanging with Latinx Youth from the Denver area to explore identity, culture, and justice through art and art-making practices.
My work has been collected by the Galerie für Zeitgenossischen Kunst, Leipzig.
On a freelance basis, I work as an art mediator, mediating artist talks and giving tours of art and cultural events in German and English languages, in addition to costume and set design for performances and concerts, transcribing or translating artistic texts or videos, and teaching miscellaneous methods for different art classes.
