WE ALL SHOULD BE LICHENS is an exhibition by students of the Hochschule für Grafik and Buchkunst Leipzig and the Deutsches Literaturinstitut Leipzig in cooperation with Joachim Blank. The exhibition at the a&o Kunsthalle in Leipzig examines the precarious relationship between man and nature. The starting point and motivation for this exhibition, jointly conceived by students and teachers, is global climate change and the political, ethical and technological debates triggered by it. Based on the concept of the anthroprocene, the exhibition brings together and presents tentacular positions and perspectives that approach a post "old nature" era in a direct, observational and often poetic way, using a variety of forms, materials and media.
